Missions and Visions

 

Vision:

Our vision is to bring a multi-disciplinary team of investigators working together to characterize breast cancer in Egyptian patants. Our goal is to understand the molecular underpinnings in order to be able to help change the course of this devastating disease. By disseminating our findings to the research community, we hope to facilitate and prioritize further research efforts to identify the molecular pathways impacting cancer pathobiology to expose new potential avenues for therapeutic intervention.

Mission:

1.  Provide research environment, technology, knowledge and expertise in basic and translational cancer research.

2. Introduce new laboratory tissue culture techniques into Egypt.

3. Enhance collaboration between basic science sector and clinical sector to connect multi-disciplinary scientists (tumor biologists, biochemist, physiologist, molecular biologist, clinicians and pathologists) sharing knowledge, experience, materials and facilities to translate and ameliorating the outcome of the treatment .
